I had the chance to join Marie for a forest bathing session, and honestly, I didn’t realize how much I needed it until I was there. It wasn’t about doing anything or getting to a specific place—it was just about being. The way Marie guided us to slow down, listen, and connect with the forest was exactly what I needed. I highly recommend it.
At some point, I found myself standing still, watching the light shift through the trees. That was it. Nothing dramatic, nothing forced—just a quiet moment that felt bigger than me. And that’s the thing about this experience. It sneaks up on you. You think you’re just out for a walk, and then suddenly, you feel different. More grounded.
I didn’t realize how loud everything had been. My thoughts, my to-do lists, the constant hum of everyday life. When I stepped into the woods with Marie, there was no pressure to perform or "meditate correctly." Just an invitation to slow down and notice.
I really enjoyed the settling-in part. It helped me feel comfortable right away. The guidance throughout was just right, not too much, not too little. My favorite moment was the listening activity. I loved tuning into all the sounds around me; it was so calming. My only wish is that you spoke a bit louder (I’m 78), but other than that, it was a wonderful experience. I’d definitely tell a friend to try it!
